Comporta, an hour from Lisbon, is a small paradise where the striking beauty of nature surrounds us and awakens all our senses. The endless horizon, the white sand and the dunes aligned with the ocean. The storks on the rooftops, the dolphins coming by surprise, the horses galloping on the sand, the stunning rice fields stretching as far as the eye can see. The simple flavors of local cuisine, grilled fish, rice and sun-ripened fruit. Nature develops with the gentle rhythm of the tides. The fresh scent of the pine trees combines with the purifying scent of lavender and the citrus notes of orange to create a unique wind-blown olfactory atmosphere that makes the rice fields dance. Its proud, elegant and welcoming inhabitants are men and women who live without distinction or pretension. There is a certain lightness of being that dwells each one of them.
This authentic and confidential paradise conquered Pierre Bouissou, the founder of the brand, from the very first moment. At Comporta, he found what he had long been looking for: a new starting point, a place of rebirth and connection with himself.
The Alma da Comporta’s house, builded by Pierre Bouissou, is the epicenter of the brand. Bathed in light and nested in the middle of an infinite pine forest that spreads to the ocean, he found there his “deepest nature”. It is the place of his creations, the place to welcome his friends, filled with serenity and joie de vivre, which inspires him day after day.
It is in this idyllic setting that Pierre created Alma da Comporta, a tribute and a love letter to the beauty and sensory richness of this calm and relaxing place, full of colours and aromas. Along with the master perfumer they created the line of fragrances ALMA, that capture the very essence of Comporta.
Aware of the importance of the invisible presence of fragrances, not only on oneself, but also on one's environment, they also ventured on the creation of a home line. The candles and diffusers JARDIM and OCEANO immerse the spaces with elegant and refreshing scents, always inspired of Comporta.
